A letter of support to COVID-19-affected students and recruiters in India

I hope you and your family members are safe and healthy. I’m writing on behalf of the Russian Education Forum to show our warm concern about the recent reports of a large drop in COVID-19 cases in India. I understand that most of you are extremely worried at this moment. And that some of your family members and friends in India might be personally influenced.

Further, I want to ensure you that our staff will do whatever possible to support you during this tough period.

Most importantly, the Russian government made an easy entry procedure for Indian students. And at this moment the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia announces some relief funds and scholarships.

However, the rise of the Indian student population in Russia is one of the most popular stories in international education over the last ten years. We understand that our recruiting partner network played a vital role in the higher education and recruitment marketplace enabled us to achieve these outcomes.

Taking into consideration the hardship and financial difficulties on your business. We’ve put together some preliminary solutions to assist recruiters and higher education experts in not only mitigate the effects of the coronavirus now. But also in developing a dedicated action plan that will aid potential recruiting well after the epidemic has passed. As a consequence, once the higher education industry regains some sense of stability. I’m hopeful about the market’s rebound.

We are dedicated to assisting you even though things are tough.

Best Regards

Divas Sharma (CEO Russian Education Forum)
