Breaking: Now Foreign Students, Visitors, Workers From Nine More Countries Can Travel Russia

Now, foreign Students, Visitors, Workers from Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, France, Jordan, Belgium, Ireland, Italy, North Macedonia, Turkey, and the United States can Travel to Russia.

Following discussion and consideration of the epidemiological situation in many countries, the Russian government has decided to resume reciprocal regular air flights with these following listed countries;

  • Belgium: Four flights each week Moscow – Brussels
  • Bulgaria: Moscow – Sofia, Moscow – Varna, Moscow – Burgas, four flights per week on each route; Yekaterinburg-Varna, Mineralnye Vody- Varna, further, Samara – Burgas, Rostov-on-Don – Varna, Rostov-on-Don – Burgas, one flight per week on each route
  • Czech Republic: Flights between Moscow and Prague will be available four times per week
  • France: Flights will be operated four times a week from Moscow to Paris and Nice, and twice a week from St. Petersburg
  • Jordan: two weekly flights between Moscow – Amman, and Moscow – Aqaba
  • Ireland: two weekly flights, Moscow-Dublin
  • Italy: Moscow – Rome, and Moscow – Milan have four weekly flights. Further, Moscow – Venice, and Moscow – Naples has two weekly flights
  • North Macedonia: One flight each week, Moscow – Skopje
  • Cyprus: Four weekly flights to Moscow – Larnaca. three weekly flights to Moscow – Paphos; two weekly flights on each route from Russian airports that have started international flights to Larnaca and Paphos
  • United States: Two flights each week Moscow – Washington and Moscow – New York

Similarly, Following Russian expert’s recommendations, a decision has made to resume regular and charter flight frequencies with Turkey on June 22, 2021, based on the routes and frequencies agreed upon prior to the suspension.

Furthermore, Russia intends to resume the number of flights to a number of countries and expand the geography of flights with other nations within a few days. Russia has also expanded the number of flights to Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Hungary, Greece, Lebanon, Croatia, and Ethiopia, as of July 24 of this year, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry.

Before traveling to Russia, please check the entry/ travel procedures of Russia on the university/airline’s webpage. In addition to added protection against the new coronavirus, the response center has urged travelers to get vaccinated before traveling to Russia.
