Belgorod – Belgorod State National Research University (NRU “BelSU”) plans to receive more than 1.1 billion rubles in research and development (R&D) in 2022, Rector of the State University Oleg Polukhin told reporters.
“The volume in 2021 amounted to 1 billion 57 million rubles, which is 1 million 212 thousand rubles per one scientific and pedagogical worker. (…) This year it will be slightly higher – 1 million 215 thousand rubles per one scientific and pedagogical employee,” the head of the university said.
Thus, the total volume of R&D in the current year should amount to 1 billion 112 million rubles.
“Under the Priority 2030 program, by 2030 we should earn about 3 billion rubles on R&D, and half of these funds from economic contracts. By the way, last year we made more than 500 million rubles on economic contracts. (…) So, we are in demand if business places orders with us,” Polukhin emphasized.
NRU “BelSU” unites nine institutes, two colleges and a branch in Stary Oskol. More than 23 thousand students from all regions of Russia, about 4 thousand foreign students from almost 100 countries of the world study in it.
