Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) took 19th place in the world in terms of “Education” in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Ranking – 2022, moving up two lines.
In terms of overall relevance, Moscow University(MSU) has also improved significantly in its position, receiving first place among Russian universities from an international team of experts, first place among Russian universities ranking lists and 158th worldwide, rising to 16th position over the previous year.
No less positive dynamics was achieved by Moscow State University(MSU) in terms of such important indicators for academic reputation as Research (50th place, growth by 5 positions) and “Connection with Industry” (24th place, growth by 16 positions in ranking lists).
Moscow University continues its forward movement upward in the international rating systems of university education. This reflects both the efforts of the university to develop its scientific and educational potential, and a certain reassessment of the potential of Russian higher education. We see that the number of domestic universities and their expert assessments are growing in international rankings.
